Welcome – we are glad you are here! We are delighted to introduce you to our Albis and Winkel holiday apartments in the beautiful Allgäu. We hope to welcome you here in person very soon.
This used to be a dairy.
Until 1970, our more than 100-year-old house was a dairy. Farmers from the surrounding area brought their milk here to be made into cheese.
Today, the old beams blend with bright, modern rooms. A piece of Allgäu history has become a welcoming holiday home.

The spacious living and dining area is the heart of the family retreat: enjoy breakfast, cook, play and talk together, then end the day by the fireplace.

A special feature of Albis: each of the three bedrooms has its own private bathroom. Families and friends can enjoy time together while retaining their own private space.

Meadows, mountains, lakes and sweeping views shape the landscape around our house. Whether you stroll from the doorstep, hike in the Allgäu Alps, swim in Lake Rottachsee or admire the view towards the Widderstein, every holiday day begins in the heart of the Allgäu. You are also very welcome to use our garden during your stay. Around the house, you will find several seating areas in different spots – perfect for a quiet break, a coffee in the sun or a relaxed evening outdoors.

Lake Rottachsee
Swimming, stand-up paddling, sailing, or simply relaxing by the water—the lake is only about one kilometer away.
Cycling
Quiet country roads, bike routes around the lakes, and panoramic tours make the area ideal for bicycles and e-bikes.
Winter
Winter hiking, sledging and nearby ski areas – or simply enjoy the snowy landscape and the fireplace.

Booking & payment
After receiving your booking enquiry, we will reply to you by email.
After receiving our booking confirmation, a deposit of 20% of the total price is due by bank transfer within 7 days.
Please transfer the remaining balance no later than four weeks before arrival. For bookings made within four weeks of arrival, the full price is due immediately after receipt of the booking confirmation.
You will receive our bank details with your personal booking confirmation.
Fair cancellation conditions
Cancellation is free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.
- Cancellation 29–14 days before arrival: 20% of the total price is charged.
- Cancellation 13–7 days before arrival: 50% of the total price is charged.
- Cancellation 6 days or less before arrival, or in case of no-show: 90% of the total price is charged.
If we are able to fully rebook your reserved dates, we reserve the right to refund all or part of the cancellation fee.

Our holiday apartments are located near Sulzberg-Moosbach. The name Albis & Winkel recalls the former Albis-Winkel dairy. For many years this house was home to our large family, and it remains a place where we regularly gather.
Perhaps that is why we put such great value on the small details. We want to create a place where families, friends, and couples can slow down, spend time together, and feel welcome from the very first moment.
We hope our guests feel just as comfortable here as we do.
